Cabot is a small(ish) town outside of Little Rock, a bedroom community if you will. One of the biggest draws for Cabot is its excellent school system.
Cabot is the largest city in Lonoke County, Arkansas. According to 2006 U.S. Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 21,040, ranking it as the state's 20th largest city, behind Van Buren. It is part of the Little Rock - North Little Rock - Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Cabot has the third highest median household income in Arkansas after Maumelle and White Hall.

Little Rock Air Force Base
The largest employer in the area surrounding Cabot is the US Air Force with their base in Jacksonville. LRAFB. Being a USAA Movers Advantage agent, I work with a lot of military families who need LRAFB housing.
Why live in Cabot?
Cabot offers a small town feel just about 20 minutes from Little Rock. The people are friendly and for the most part well behaved. Cabot has a nice movie theater, a newer bowling alley and a well ranked High School Football team. There are a multitude of Churches, a couple nice restaurants and of course our own Wal-Mart Supercenter! A short 20 minute drive will get you to North Little Rock where there is a shopping mall.
